STYLE INSPIRATION: WHAT WILL YOU WEAR TO THANKSGIVING DINNER?

Wednesday, November 27, 2013

Guess what tomorrow is.... THANKSGIVING!! Time to stuff ourselves full with great food and spend time with our loved ones...but still looking our best right?  You have just a small amount of time to rock those fall colors and Thanksgiving is the perfect day to do so! Embrace a burnt orange sweater with a rustic look and some studs for detail. Pair it with a pair of your favorite skinnies and boots and you have a simple yet cute look. Show your extended family that "hey I'm looking great and didn't even really have to try" look.  Need a more dressed up look, how about the perfect mocha long dress.  Looks elegant and the best part is it's still comfortable and great to lounge in after you feast! Pair a white blazer with darker solids then add a patterned scarf to look sophisticated but still it's Thanksgiving, you still have that fun funky side for the holidays.  What can you never go wrong with ladies? That's right...CARDIGANS!! A dark charcoal cardigan with an accent green necklace to still get the fall colors accentuated into your outfit can make for a very bold look.  What will you  be wearing to Thanksgiving dinner? From us gals at MACA, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!

MINOR METALLICS & SIMPLE SPARKLES

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

By now everyone is anticipating when they can crank it up a notch on their outfits for a little more glitz and glam.  Just because its the first of November doesn't mean you have to wait until New Years to break out the bold statement garments. Adding hints of metallic and sparkle to simple pieces can give you that small amount of fashion forward flare to your outfit you have been awaiting upon. For a little black dress affair having the top slightly detailed with metallic material is very chic, or for a little more fun find a dress that has very little (yet noticeable) sequence detail on the top.  Adding a little glitz to your favorite leather short is also a simple fabulous option! Just remember to not over-do the sparkle! How will you rock your glitz and glam?

Between finishing up her final semester of college with a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership (a branch of business management)  here in Fayetteville at the University of Arkansas, and training for the upcoming Miss University of Arkansas pageant she was still able to answer some Q&A's from crazy memories, style sense, all the way to life aspirations! Leaving her hometown of the wonderful windy city of Chicago wasn't an easy decision for Natalie when deciding upon going to school here, but she is glad she made the move to become a beloved Razorback! When she has time she loves spending it with her friends, playing a little guitar, or just  relaxing! It's no secret she has a huge heart, by her involvement with Children's Miracle Networks Hospital. DON'T PUT AWAY THE SHORTS!

Sunday, November 3, 2013

Just because colder weather has arrived doesn't mean you have to give your shorts up! There are plenty of ways to wear shorts in the fall....and winter that are "season appropriate" yet providing warmth! Like any fantastic fall outfit layers are the key! Pair your shorts with a pair of tights, a bold closed toe heel or boot, put on your go to favorite sweater and you have yourself a fall outfit with SHORTS! Maybe you don't want to wear tights well there is still ways to make it work ladies! Don't remove them from your closet just yet! Get a great knee high boot to wear with your shorts while supporting all different style cardigans you own! Another look we gals at Maca love is shorts with knee high socks! Simple yet stylish!  (lets be honest we all own one in all styles/colors) Shorts can be a scary thought to most people during this time of the year but knowing what to wear with them expands into different fashion options! How will you wear shorts this season?
