It's all the rage this year.... the kimono jacket!  Light-weight and breezy, this cardigan gives you a varieties of looks and the ultimate comfort.  The clean cut silhouette is flattering for all body types.  Exploring the kimono trend  is a great investment if you are looking for a change.  It's perfect for when it's time to transition into the spring season.  Feeling bold? Putting a floral kimono with a graphic T is a fun look with contrasting patterns! You can also put it with your favorite colored skinny jeans for more spunk.  MACA personally loves the aztec kimono!   A simple way to wear the printed kimono is over a solid color, making it the key statement.  If prints aren't your thing, you can still address the kimono trend for an elegant look.  Put a solid black kimono cardi over a solid shirt with a pair of jeans and you are set! How do you feel about the kimono cardigan? Will you be placing it into your wardrobe?

MACA CRUSH MONDAY [JORDAN EDDLEMAN]

Monday, December 2, 2013

It's the start to another week, and we are starting it off with our pick of MACA CRUSH MONDAY! This week's crush is Miss Jordan Eddleman!  Jordan is a sophomore attending University of Central Arkansas majoring in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She is originally from Fayetteville but chose to branch out and leave NWA for school.  She's an only child but has the best relationship with her dad, who is the head baseball coach at Elkins High School. While in college Jordan is also working part time at Children's Place as a sales associate in Conway, AR.  If she's not studying or working Jordan likes to spend her spare time she likes to go to country concerts and hang out with friends! We were lucky enough to catch up with Miss Eddleman over the break and get some Q's and A's answered!

Maca: What are three words to describe your style?
Jordan: Miss-matching, Fierce, Comfortable
Maca: What is the craziest thing you've ever done?
Jordan: I’ve never really done anything too crazy, but my dream is to go cliff jumping into the ocean in Hawaii!
Maca: What is your dream job?
Jordan: Working for Bolthouse Productions as an event planner!
Maca: If you were a shoe, which one describes you best?
Jordan: A fringe boot, because I’m fun and funky!
Maca: Who is your favorite singer?
Jordan: Miranda Lambert…she’s bold.
Maca: What is your favorite season of clothing?
Jordan: Winter, you can layer anything and everything and it looks cute!

Maca: What accessory could you not live without?
Jordan: I wear a turquoise ring my mom got me for graduation that I never take off. It’s my birthstone.
Maca: Who's your celebrity style crush?
Jordan: She’s not exactly a celebrity, but definitely Mandy Rogers! (MACA owner) I saw her wearing a pair of “boss” earrings the other day and I was like…”yeah she’s the only one who could pull those off!”
Maca: Do you have a go-to place to shop?
Jordan: MACA and E.Leighs
Maca: What are your wearing from Maca?
Jordan: I am wearing a pair of Cult reversible jeans; I have them on the camo side paired with a burnt orange tunic.  Because I love layering I put a black fringe type of cardi on top. My accessories are a pair of bootie heels to match my shirt and some black and gold chunky bracelets and statement necklace.
Maca: What is your favorite part about any given day?
Jordan: Trying to figure out what I’m going to wear. It gives me a break from “real life” and I can focus on something that’s more fun.

Time to stuff ourselves full with great food and spend time with our loved ones...but still looking our best right?  You have just a small amount of time to rock those fall colors and Thanksgiving is the perfect day to do so!
