Jewelry Guide: { Transitioning from Winter to Spring }

Wednesday, January 13, 2016

Pinterest search engines are more than likely flooded with "transitional wardrobe pieces" as of right now, and while that is very important for fashion junkies, sometimes transitional jewelry is over-looked.  Most women think that jewelry and accessories are year round items (and that may apply to some pieces) but like clothes, your pretty little add-ons need to be swapped.  We've put together a little guide as to what winter pieces can be replaced with spring pieces!

1. From statements to subtle
Winter is all about making a statement and bringing attention to those dark colors you are wearing.  This spring go for something more subtle like a choker necklace.  Layering these dainty necklaces is an option for those who just have to have a statement piece (which is not a bad thing).

2. Ban the bling, bring on the color
Holiday parties and cold weather call for all the glitz and glam all the rhinestones in the world can bring, but warmer temps and outside events scream COLOR!  Trade in your sparkles for pops of brights or low key pastels.

3. Black out the oxidizes and depend on delicate
You know those favorite pair of oxidized silver or blackened metal earrings you have ?  Put them in a box and stash them away until next year because delicate pieces are moving in.  We love a good stud stack on our ears, but we know some of you women like to break out the big stuff, which is fine for spring just make sure you have an earthy tone to keep it simple.
